The Bank of the West Classic is the longest-running event on the WTA tour, and Venus and Serena Williams have a long and strong connection to the tournament—in fact, this year marks the 20th anniversary of Venus making her pro debut at the Bank of the West, back when it was held in Oakland, Both Williams sisters have won the Bank of the West twice.
