The last American man to win a Grand Slam singles title, Andy Roddick, will join 15-time Slam winners and the all-time winningest doubles team, Mike and Bob Bryan, at the V-Grid Tennis Fest Featuring the Bryan Bros. Presented by Alexander Cadillac, the event takes place on Friday, Sept. 27, at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo.
All proceeds benefit the Bryan Bros. Foundation, which helps fund youth tennis in both Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Last year’s event featured special guest Gavin Rossdale of the band Bush. More than $100,000 was raised for the foundation.
This year, Roddick is joined by other top names in tennis and special musical guests, including the Bryan Bros. Band. More than 50 local wineries and restaurants will be on hand, and sponsorships are still available. Once again, popular Spanish Hills Director of Tennis Dave McKinney is running the event.
McKinney recently announced that Pro-Am sports and VIP tables have sold out. There are still $100 general admission tickets available—they can be purchased online at www.bbtennisfest.com or by contacting Spanish Hills at (805) 388-5000, ext. 362.
