Seven-time Slam champ Venus Williams has joined her 10-time Slam champ sister Serena in the 2009 Family Circle Cup, April 11-19 at the Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, SC.
Venus, the ‘04 Family Circle Cup titlist, will make her fourth
appearance in Charleston. Serena is the defending champion. America’s top players are sure to be pressed by a star studded field that includes No. 10 Nadia Petrova, the ‘06 champ, and No. 5 Vera Zvonareva.
The tournament is also featuring the return of its popular Team Getaway Packages. This group ticketing option is designed for league players to enjoy the event as well as great shopping, dining, and sight-seeing throughout historic Charleston.
Teams with six or more people in their group who utilize this discount will receive Terrace Level seating for any session Monday- Thursday, an official program for each team member, access to the exclusive Champions Club, and one Valet Parking Pass per team.
