Bill Kellogg was elected the new SCTA president at the annual meeting. The La Jolla resident, who is president of the much-celebrated La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, has devoted his life to tennis. He competed as a junior and for Dartmouth where he played No.1 and was co-captain. He became a teaching pro, referee and club manager and has spent decades volunteering at every level of tennis. Kellogg is a former president of Youth Tennis San Diego and the SD District Tennis Association and has been an SCTA vice-president and sectional delegate. For two decades he has served on innumerable USTA national committees including Adult/Senior Competition and Davis Cup & Fed Cup. Kellogg brought the Davis Cup and Fed Cup ties to his oceanside blub in 2006 and 2008.
